HOPPER: VERTICAL SCRAPES

KITE: HORIZONTAL SCRAPES

CARE & MAINTENANCE

HOPPER & KITE™ bracelets fit your cherished Omega perfectly, regardless of its condition. Thanks to our exclusive hand-scraping and assembly technique, we've achieved that extraordinary "not new, not used" look.

Owning an Omega Mark Series, The Baird™, Flightmaster, Spacemaster, Skywalker, or Jedi is a truly unique experience that we want you to enjoy for a lifetime, with our bracelet accompanying it forever. The following advices are especially important; they will help you keep your Hopper & Kite bracelet in pristine condition for years to come, thus helping to pass on the unique story of your watch to the next generation.

THREADED CROWN

At SINCEWATCHES, we want to emphasize something we consider very important: Under no circumstances should you immerse your watch in water or any other liquid UNLESS its crown is screw-down.

If, by some unfortunate chance, your watch's crown is NOT screw-down and you submerge it in water or any other liquid, or expose it to rain for an extended period, we advise you to take your watch to a professional for service and inspection as soon as possible.

CLEANING

Our unique hand-scraping technique makes your bracelet more susceptible to fingerprints from contact with your hands, which detracts from the enjoyment of its extraordinary "not new, not used" visual effect.

Whenever necessary, lightly dampen a microfiber towel with warm, soapy water and rub vertically or horizontally, depending on the type of scraping on your bracelet. For HOPPER, rub vertically. For KITE, rub horizontally. You can also dampen the microfiber towel with rubbing alcohol.

DRYING

Use a microfiber towel to dry the brazalet immediately after cleaning it. If you have decided to use alcohol, do so quickly, before it evaporates. It is especially important that you dry it by rubbing horizontally for the HOPPER model and vertically for the KITE model.

LIQUIDS

When your bracelet has been exposed to seawater, rain, or other liquids, rinse it with lukewarm water and then immerse it in rubbing alcohol, if necessary. To do this, detach the bracelet from the case and then repeat the cleaning and drying steps described above. Our bracelet can be detached from the case starting at the penultimate 24mm link, leaving the last 22mm link connected, if desired. This minimizes potential damage to the case of your cherished Omega.

Please always keep in mind that the gaskets on your bracelet may be affected by premature aging due to contact with seawater or other liquids.

IMPACTS

If your bracelet suffers any kind of impact or accidental shock, always keep in mind that the seals or any of its components may be affected and could influence its proper functioning.

WARRANTY

The durability of a bracelet cannot be guaranteed indefinitely. It can be affected by the aging of the seals, an impact, or an accidental blow to any of the components that ensure its durability. It can also be due to mistreatment or improper use. As indicated in the care and maintenance instructions, we recommend checking the bracelet regularly. We offer a complete restoration service for your bracelet.
